I am so happy with the new updates that only add to an already great place that we have enjoyed for years. My wife had the scallops and was pleased, my daughter had the lobster risotto and said that it was the best she has ever had and I had the strip steak and the chef actually knows how to cook a medium rare steak. If you get the chance to try it out, I would because the staff makes us always feel like we are special every time.

Went here for restaurant week, overall it was a nice fine dining experience. This establishment has been recently taken over by the owners of Applewood cafe, a place I frequented often in Williamsville before closing. Highlights of my meal was the service (exceptional) and the appetizers (crab cakes, shrimp cocktail) in addition to our entrees (lobster risotto, chicken with almonds, and filet ). The lobster in my entree was plentiful, risotto cooked perfectly, steak and chicken entrees were prepared well too (I'll let the pictures do the talking!) Room for improvement is definitely the dessert menu (no desserts seemed made in house) and the decor seemed outdated (booths were a tight squeeze and it appeared as though a shower curtain design was separating the seating areas) Also, the classic rock Pandora station really didn't seem like a good fit for the atmosphere, perhaps maybe some jazz or easy listening should have been playing. Anyways, because food is the number 1 draw for me, I'll be back, as there were a few other items on their regular menu I would like to try (as well as a blueberry Mule on their cocktail menu!)

This place is fantastic. The service was great and the food and drinks were even better. We started with the truffle fries, calamari, and french onion soup, all of which were cooked perfectly. The French onion soup was the best I've ever half-second only to my Grandma's homemade recipe. For entrees we had the Chicken Almondine and the Gorgonzola Penne with sirloin tips. Both entrees were extremely fresh and full of flavor and both meats were cooked to perfection. We ordered Old Fashioneds and also had some beers-they carry a ton of bottle beer. The old fashioneds were huge and very well made. The atmosphere is great-awesome staff, super comfortable seating, and great music playing. The prices are really reasonable for the caliber of gourmet dishes they serve. This place is top notch and will be our go to restaurant from now on. Well done, Mansard!

The roast beef is absolutely delicious, stopped in last week and had to come back again! The truffle fries and onion rings are also great. My daughter had the French onion soup and she loved it. This place is awesome, nice owners, nice servers and is very clean. Will be back often.

They did it again!! Food is incredible!! The improvements in the menu are great the still have some of the old standbys, like the turkey Jerome, but the new stuff WOW!! Jalapeño pepper dip, truffle fries, charcuterie board, the scallops and the salmon to DIE for!! Cheers to the new owners!! What a great job updating the menu!! Oh and while you are there try a blueberry mule YUMMY!!
